Arthur L. "Jack" Flockerzi, 75, of Oil City RD 2, died at 11:30 am Wednesday in the Clarion Hospital. He was born in Coal Hill, Pinegrove Township, Venango County, Feb. 2, 1910, son of Godfrey and Matilda Marsh Flockerzi.
He lived his entire live in Coal Hill, worked as a teamster, lumberman and farmer, and for 26 years at Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp., Oil City, until retiring due to ill health.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Helen Renwick of Allegheny Manor, Shippenville RD 1; two brothers, Lloyd W. Flockerzi and Paul R. Flockerzi, of Oil City; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, a sister, Mrs. Hazel Blauser, and a brother, Clifford Flockerzi, are deceased.
Services will be at the Morrison Funeral Home, Oil City, with Rev. Dennis Henley, pastor of the Heckathorn United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Heckathorn Cemetery.
