Bobby Ray Atkins, 85, passed away on November 26, 2019, at his home in Winona, Missouri. He was born January 8, 1934, in Winona, Missouri to Harly and Thelma (DeWeese) Atkins.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Harly and Thelma.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; eight children, Shelia Sublett (Steve), Tony Atkins (Phyllis) all of Harrisburg, Missouri, Ron Atkins (Lori) of Centrailia, Missouri, Connie Creason (Nelson) of Harrisburg, Missouri and Bobby Atkins of Winona, Missouri, Heather Roberts (Bobby) of West Plains, Missouri, Leea Barrett (David) of Winona, Missouri and Rebecca Barnes of Eminence, Missouri; twenty grandchildren, Scott Sublett, Josh Sublett (Morgan), Anthony Atkins (Andrea), Brittney Wilhite (Dustin), Caitlin Angermayer (Jordan), Christopher Atkins, Carmen Atkins, Jason Atkins, Travis Lovins (Nicole), Megan Sinak (Levi), Brett Atkins, Katrina Williams (Lucas), Hayli Smith, Mariah Mays (Austin), Taylor Haynes, Blaze Dodson, Jordan Barrett (Cara), Baily Barrett, Lauren Hogan and Kindal Sevedge; and twelve great-grandchildren, Brendon Sublett, Alexis Sublett, Valerie Sublett, Eastan Sublett, Cameron Sublett, Landon Atkins, Emma Atkins, Wyatt Wilhite, Lily Wilhite, Reid Lovins, Lainey Lovins and Haysli Atkins.
Bobby loved horses and anything outdoors, especially hunting. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and the rest of his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri.
