Founder of N I Telephone Co Dies at Cresco
Herbert G Addie 80, the founder and for 50 years manager and secretary of the Northern Iowa Telephone Co here died Sunday.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the Baptist Church here.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, who has been seriously ill since suffering a stroke in September; an adopted daughter, Mrs Ivor Johnson, Cresco. Mr and Mrs Addie reared a niece and nephew Ruby Floory Cresco and Boyd McVety and also Mrs Dawn Poers, Cresco.
