James Russell France, 63, of Bakersfield, California was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Russell N. & Kathryn M. (Dixon) France. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in Shawnee Mission, KS in 1959 and attended Baker University.
In 1964 he married Patricia Ruth Willman of Moberly, Missouri and two children were born. Mr. France worked for Montgomery Ward in a managerial position for 20 years in the mid-western states and later in the Amarillo area.
In 1991 he moved to Prescot, ARiz. & later to Caliente & Bakersfield, CA.
He is survived by one son and a daughter, his mother, a brother, two grand-daughters, & two grandsons. He is preceded in death by his father.
A graveside memorial service will be held Sat., Aug. 6 at the Elmhurst Cemetery.
