Death came Friday morning to Robert King Sivley at his home, 800 Oak street.
Mr. Sivley had been a resident of this community for many years and was an upright citizen. He was a member of the Michigan Prairie Baptist Church.
He was born at Kings Point, Tenn., September 21, 1867, being 84 years of age. He was married December 12, 1897, to Mary Emma Young.
He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. S. D. James, Honey Grove; Leonard Sivley, Vernon; Donald Sivley, Dallas; Mrs. Hallie Mae Gilbert, Honey Grove; a brother, A. M. Sivley, San Antonio; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Allen's Point Baptist Church Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. T. J. Watts with burial being in the Allen's Point cemetery by Cooper Funeral Home.
