Mildred Vaught Frazier, 90, died Thursday August 1, 2013 in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services were held Monday August 5, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Curtis Abla officiating.
She was born June 11, 1923 in Electra, TX to Samuel and Mamie Johnson Vaught. She grew up in Wellington, TX and moved to Dalhart in 1961. She was affectionately known by all as Granny or Millie. She loved to cook and bake and waitressed at several local cafes. She loved to laugh and tell jokes and stories. One of her most favorite things was spending time with her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Kratzer Husmann and husband Matt of Amarillo, Susanne Kratzer Boggs and husband Keith of Dalhart and Michael Kratzer of Kyle, Texas; granddaughters Shawna West and husband Dayne of Grapevine, Nikki Swearingen of Amarillo, Heather O'Neal of Vernon and Aryn Stinnett and husband Cuyler of Amarillo; great grandchildren Kinsey and Grace West, Aubry and Dawson Swearingen, Jakobe and Danika O'Neal, Logan, Aiden, Bryson and Grayson Stinnett; honorary granddaughters Brenda Jaramillo and Jennifer Contreras, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends..
Memorials should be made to the Lincoln Street Baptist Church Summer Feeding Program or BSA Hospice.
