Denise Lynn Lee died January 3, 2005, at the age of 39 in Juneau, Alaska. She had been a resident of Juneau for the last eight months. She was born in Vancouver, Washington on September 3, 1965 and graduated from high school in 1983 in Vancouver. She had resided with her family in Redmond and Salem, Oregon, as well as Vancouver.

Denise was married to Mike Lee and had recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. She is survived by her twin children, Michaela and Michael Lee. Denise loved her children dearly and was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be missed by her family and friends greatly. She loved her Indian artifacts, rock collecting, music and watching the stars. She made friends easily and usually for life.

Denise is also survived by Hubert and Joyce Weatherman, her father and step-mother; LaNeil and LaNelle Lee, her father and mother-in-law; her brothers and sister, Larry, Ted and Shelly, and her brothers-in-law, Matt and Mitch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2005, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Flowers, and the memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Columbian, January 12, 2005
