Funeral rites were held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence, conducted by the Rev. Marshall D. Moss, Methodist minister. Burial took place in the Pisgah Cemetery.
Born June 27, 1867 in Giles County, she was the daughter of Rev. Logan Douglas Harwell and Esther Ann Ralston Harwell, having spent her entire life in this county. She was an active member of the Methodist Church.
Her husband died in 1934. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arnie Young of Pulaski, and Mrs. Lexie Young of Pisgah; one son, Logan H. Montgomery, Pisgah; a step-son Lacey P. Montgomery, Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Neil C. Birdsong, Pulaski.
