Deceased Name: George M. Mosher

George M. Mosher, 89, Clyde, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde.

He was born March 12, 1921, in Cloud County to Jonathan and Emily (Olson) Mosher. She was a 1942 graduate of Concordia High School. He married Mary Louise Roe on Jan. 1, 1944. She preceded him in death April 5, 1997. He farmed in Clifton and Hollis.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Mosher and wife, Glennifer, Liverpool, N.Y., and Donald Mosher and wife, Anita, WaKeeney; a daughter, Marilyn Joyce and husband, Gary Bogart, Concordia; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael; two brothers, Fred and Robert Mosher; and two sisters, Lillie Cox and Millard Pelland.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Faith United Church Presbyterian Church, Clifton; burial in Hollis Cemetery, Cloud County.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Turner Funeral Home, Clay Center.

Memorials are suggested to Park Villa Nursing Home or Meadowlark Hospice in care of the funeral home.
