Paul W. Gieringer, 30, a native of this city, died this morning in his home, 231 Lexington Ave., New York City. He was the son of Lawrence T. and Dora (Seisler) Gieringer and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, this city. He served as a corporal in the Army.
Surviving are his parents, who reside near Hamburg; his widow, Alyse (Wenzel) Gieringer; a daughter, Cherelyn, and a step-son, John, both at home, and a sister, Alberta, wife of Walter Bernecker, of near Hamburg.
Funeral Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Dougherty Funeral Home. Solemn Requiem Mass will be conducted in St. Paul's Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery.
