dies at age 79.
The funeral for Antonio Vacca, 79, of 100 East Ave., North Providence, who died suddenly Saturday at the home of his stepdaughter, Mrs. Russell Arlia, of 56 Sprague Ave., Cranston, will be held Wednesday ...
Mr. Vacca was born in Italy, Jan. 6, 1875. He was the son of the late Carmino and Giovanna (Caranci) Vacca.
He was one of the founders of the Madonna Della DiFiesa Society and Our Lady of Grace Church of Manton. He had been a resident of North Providence for the past 22 years.
Surviving, besides his stepdaughter, are his wife, Mrs. Filomena (Romano-Caranci) Vacca; two sons, Joseph of Johnston and Charles of Providence; one step-son, Frank Caranci of North Providence; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Villari of Greenville, Mrs. Natale Bruni of Johnston and Mrs. Joseph D'Amelio of Providence; another stepdaughter, Mrs. Alexander Iannuccilli of North Providence; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren."
