ARKANSAS CITY, KS — Memorial service for Douglas Ewing, 61, of Arkansas City, Kan., will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Ark City Brown Center Theater on the campus of Cowley College. Arrangements by Angel's Cremation and Burial, Mesa, Ariz.
Douglas was born Nov. 27, 1949, in Harper, Kan., to Herb and Doris Ewing and died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Surviving are wife, Dejon Lyall Ewing, daughter, Piper Leigh and two grand buddies, Jess and Jack, all of Ark City, Kan., and four siblings, Sandra Luginbill of Enid, Terry Ewing of Alva, Sheryl McKee of Fairview and Jack Ewing of Pratt, Kan.
