Jack Gray, 52, Rotan, Postmaster Succumbs
A heart attack proved fatal Monday afternoon to Jack Gray, 52-year-old postmaster of Rotan, who died in the Callan Hospital there at 1:00 p. m. Gray was first stricken with a heart attack Monday morning.
Widely known as a banker before his appointment as Rotan's postmaster in 1933. Gray had been a resident of Rotan for most of his life. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Gray, early-day Rotan residents.
Survivors are his widow; a brother, Robert Gray of Rotan; two sisters, Mrs. Dono Day Sr., of Rotan and Mrs. Tom Ballinger of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
