A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Cochran was a daughter of the late William Alaza and Lily Mae Ivester Payne and was the widow of Buford I. Cochran. She was formerly employed with Gold Kist and was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. Kenneth Dillard officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Damascus Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters; three sons; two brothers; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Damascus Baptist Church Building Fund, 2826 GA Highway 198, Baldwin, Ga 30511.
