My gggramma was married to George H. PUNTENNEY Jr.
someone has told me her 1st married name can not be her middle name.

According to 3 census records Rhoda was born in Pennsylvania in the year 1804.

She was 1 of 8 children born of Rhoda Phillips-Truitt, and she also had a step-brother, Tommy b: 1789 NJ. and stayed in PA. LINKED and George LINKED

The data about the number of CHILDREN is from my g-grampa Russel's obituary. "he is 1 of 7 children"

George apparently died after Apr. 30, 1845, when he and Rhoda transferred land documents.
grave not found. Rhoda arr'd in Indiana without him, only 3 of the children. Rhoda remarried George Williams, 28 Feb. 1850.

1860 census George/Rhoda Williams still live in Liberty and Rhoda's youngest son James M age:19 still lives with them.

Buying and selling property, in Ohio. marriage record of her with her 2nd husband after George JR "disappeared" from any record. 1850 census in Indiana with 2 of her kids and all George Williams kids. As of the 1870 census Rhoda was living with George and then 1880 she was living with her son James M. Puntney in Liberty Delaware, Indiana. James & his wife Mollie 3 of their children & his sister Margaret are buried here as well.

according to what Maggie Vance had told me about her parents "Parker was born 1763 Sussex, Delaware and died Adams OHIO 1844, and Rhoda, his ("common-law" wife) was also born 1763 and died 1828 Adams OHIO." and she e'd me the HISTORY OF DELAWARE Cnty.
