Dorothy Mae Polk, 90, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born April 1, 1921, in Kokomo, to Charles and Julia (Holt). She married Paul W. Polk, and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1987.
She was a beautician for many years and loved watching soap operas and Cubs baseball. She was a lifetime member of the VFW.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Celestia) Polk, and Roger (Carla) Polk; one daughter, Julie Griffin; six grandchildren, Steve Polk, Jeremy Polk, Bill Polk, Robert Clawson, Rachael Polk, and Samuel Griffin; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers.
