Mary Ellen Collins, 73 of Hacker Valley went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born May 24, 1939 in Buckhannon to James B. and Cora L. Earnest Cockerill and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong resident of Webster County and was Baptist by Faith. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, loved collecting hummingbirds, baking, sewing, and loved spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her sons Steven Collins of Hacker Valley, Jeffery and wife Anita Collins of Cleveland, Robert and wife Pam Collins of Silver Springs, MD, and James and wife Becky Collins of Hacker Valley; daughters Cynthia Rollins of Webster Springs and Janet and husband Bill Fisher of Hacker Valley; brothers Bill Cockerill of OH and George and wife Hellen Cockerill of FL; sisters Anna Jackson of OH, Kate and husband Ernie Wilmoth of AZ, and Janet and husband Brian Jordan of Diana; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Hueling Collins; and brothers John, Ray, and James Cockerill.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Chris Cosner officiating. Interment will follow in Hodam Creek Cemetery, Hacker Valley.
