Born January 15, 1922 in Risingsun, Ohio to Israel and Hila (Williams) Sampson she had lived in Ohio the majority of her life. A 1939 graduate of Plymouth High School, she retired from the State of Ohio and Thermodisc.
Margaret was active in the Plymouth Alumni Association and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. A sportsfan, she enjoyed puzzles, needlework, car shows and watching NASCAR.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and her special feline companion, Kidder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar F. Huffman in 1999; infant son, Teddy Racer, her sister, Fayma Martin, niece, Brenda Stephens and special friend, Woodrow "Woody" Racer.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2013 in Oakland Cemetery, Shelby with Reverend John J. Bradley officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
