Roberta Marie Ferguson, 85, of Fostoria, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Woodruff, Spartanburg County, S.C., to Roy and Ella Bell (Moody) Durrah. She married Frank Ferguson Jr. July 10, 1944, in South Carolina, and he preceded her in death June 15, 1996.
She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor F. Ferguson of Fostoria, Goldie Ferguson Banner of South Carolina and Tina R. Ferguson Snyder of Michigan; two sons, Johnell (Cathy) Ferguson of Fostoria and the Rev. Franklin R. (Doris) Ferguson of South Carolina; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ivy (Rebecca) Durrah of South Carolina.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, the Rev. Deloris Ferguson Smith; a brother, Roy Durrah; two sisters, Eliza Watson and Mae Thelma Durrah; and a granddaughter, Lisa Stowers.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria.
Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Fostoria, with the Rev. T.A. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
