Spc. Jonathon C. Haggin of Kingsland died Saturday, July 30, 2005, while serving with the Army National Guard in Iraq.The Kingsland Soldier was among four killed Saturday night when a roadside bomb went off under their Humvee in southwestern Baghdad
Haggin served in Iraq as a U.S. Marine in 2003 and returned to duty with the National Guard. Before his death, Haggin was considering a return to the Marine Corps. A few weeks before his death, Haggin was wounded in action, but returned to the frontlines.
Haggin is survived by his wife,Child,and a baby due in January 2006; also his parents;a sister and a brother.
