JOHN RENSING OF ALBERS DIES AT 74
"John A. Rensing, 74 year old carpenter died at his house in Abers, Illinois at 6:40 o'clock last nite. Mr. Rensing was born in Damiansville Illinois Sept 18, 1878, he was a son of the late Herman and Mary I. Rensing nee Pelstering both natives of Aviston. He married Genevieve Brandemeyer in Damiansville Nov.
8, 1910.
"Besides his wife he leaves four children; Mrs. Mary Rensing Hefland, Mrs. Agnes Hawerth and Edmond and Alphonse Rensing all of St. Louis, 6 grandchildren, two brothers; Ben Rensing, Sr., of New Baden and Henry Rensing 416 N. Church St. and two sisters; Mrs. William Brandemeyer of Albers and Mrs. William Toennies, New Baden."
"He was a member of the Men's Sodality of St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Albers.
