Mrs. Torres was born February 16, 1959 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Olin Eason and Pauline Hopkins Eason. She was a former textile employee. Betty enjoyed fishing, going out to eat, yard sales, and auctions. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister Belinda Green.
Surviving are Her Husband, Margarito Perez Torres of the home; Two Daughters, Hope (Brent Laney) Luna of Ruby, SC and Paula (Armando) Gutierrez of Pageland, SC; Four Brothers, Billy Eason of Mt. Croghan, SC, Randy Eason of Pageland, SC, Jackie Eason of Bushnell, FL, and Tony Spradley of Rock Hill, SC; and One Sister, Bonnie Steen of Mt. Croghan, SC; Also Nine Grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Almetta Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC. Interment followed in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson, SC.
