CLINTON – Linda Lee Dye Howe, 50, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at her home in Clinton. She was born June 14, 1963, in Hamilton, the daughter of Dale and Barbara (Liming) Dye.

Linda was raised and educated in Hamilton, where she was a member of the Sheriff's Junior Posse. She loved playing in the Hamilton High School Band before graduating in 1981. Linda spent most of her working life in Missoula. She married Bruce T. Howe on Aug. 27, 1994, and they resided in Clinton.

Linda enjoyed refinishing furniture and gardening, and she had a passion for the outdoors. She loved riding horses, riding motorcycles, and especially hunting and fishing. Linda was very proud of the moose she got up the Blackfoot. She also enjoyed scuba diving and deep sea fishing, and she and Bruce traveled to Jamaica, Mexico and other places to do this.

Linda will be remembered for being very social; she just loved to get out and visit with people.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father-in-law, John Mulligan; and niece, Tara Rae Wells. Linda is survived by her husband, Bruce Howe of Clinton; her parents, Dale and Barbara Dye of Hamilton; two sisters, Jolie Wells and husband Donald of Hamilton and Bobbi Dye of Hamilton; her mother-in-law, Joan Mulligan of Clinton; her niece, Jessica and her two children Willo and Tyler; her nephew, Cameron; three aunts, Margaret Phelps and husband Bud of Seeley Lake, Elizabeth Loudon of Seeley Lake and Nancy Johnson of Provo, Utah; her uncle, Bill Ogg of Clinton; her good friend, Jacquie Bentley of Clinton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Condolences may be left for the family at the Chapel
