Jewel Judy Barnes, 55, of Riceville, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at a Knoxville hospital.

A daughter of the late Elizabeth Lovingood Millsaps and Lee Anderson Millsaps, she was a graduate of McMinn County High School. She graduated from Cleveland State Community College with an associate’s degree and was employed with Arch Chemical in Charleston.

Survivors include two sisters, Bobbie Allen of Copperhill, and Helen Henry of Niota;
three brothers, Gary Millsaps of Englewood, Robert Millsaps of Athens, and Tony Lawson of Buford, Ga.;
three nieces and two spouses, Debbie Allen of Cleveland, Ga., and Julie and Kent Hicks and Liz and Dwayne Pope, all of Cleveland;
three nephews and two spouses, Marty and Sally Allen of Homer, Ga., and Michael and Renee Allen and Jonathan Allen, all of Copperhill; and several other nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service was 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Home with Pastor Don Harris officiating. The body will be cremated.
