George Forsythe Dies Today; Rites Pending

      George Linman Forsythe, 70, 321 Third Avenue, a resident of Brainerd for 56 years, died early this morning at St. Joseph's hospital.
      Mr. Forsythe was born Oct. 21, 1884 in Brainerd. He was a member of the Zurah Shrine, Elks Lodge, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was an inspector for the Northern Pacific railroad for 14 years and later worked for the U. S. Government in the same capacity.
      At one time he operated a real estate rental company and was the builder of the Motor Inn now known as Hanning Motors.
      Surviving are his widow Mrs. Lillian E. Forsythe.
      Funeral services are pending at the Halvorson funeral home. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 11 May 1955, p. 2)

Forsythe Funeral Services To Be Held Saturday

      Funerral rites for George L. Forsythe, who died early Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's hospital, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Halvorson funeral home.
      Dr. Howard Vernon will officiate and internet will be in Evergreen cemetery.
