MILTON – Anna Frances Sceggell, age 105, formerly of Milton, died peacefully, Monday, February 29, 2016, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, where she most recently resided.

Born November 6, 1910, in Rochester, the daughter of Frank E. and Grace (Wright) McIntire, she was a lifelong resident of Milton, a graduate of Nute High School, Class of 1928.

She ran a bakery out of her home in Milton, where summer people coming up to their cottages would buy her bakery goods.

In earlier years, she was a shoeworker at local shoe factories.

A member of the Milton Community Church and the Woman's Union at church, Milton Woman's Club, Young at Heart of Milton and Order of the Eastern Star.

Widow of the late Howard J. Sceggell, Sr., survived by their son: Howard J. Sceggell, Jr., and wife Helen of Rochester, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a niece Grace Casey of Exeter and two great nieces. Predeceased by her daughter Arlene Fields.

Her family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and aides on Unit 2 at Riverside Rest Home for their loving and excellent care, the past ten years of her life.
