Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Saturday, September 14, 1963:
  Mrs. Margaret Lorraine Lamb, 41, of 1402 Grand Ave., employed in the management analysis at the Granite City Depot, died this morning at 4:25 at Deaconess Hospital, St. Louis, where she had been a patient a week.
  Born Feb. 3, 1922 in Worden, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Phillips of Worden. She was married to Woodrow H. Lamb on Sept. 5, 1947 at St. John's Methodist church here.
  Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are a brother and a sister, Glenn Phillips Jr., Edwardsville and Mrs. Steve (Lois) Vazzi, Worden.
  Mrs. Lamb was a member of St. John's Methodist church.
  The body may be viewed at the Pletcher funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to St. John's church to lie in state until the services at 1:30 p.m.  The Rev. James L. Nettleton, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
