Her husband, Walter O. Ellis, died in 1988. She leaves three sons, William L. Ellis of Whitinsville, Ronald O.Ellis of Northbridge and Donald F. Ellis of Worcester; two daughters, Mildred E. Hoekstra of Whitinsville and Sandra L. Young of Sutton; a brother, George Forrest of Hanover; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born in Middleboro, daughter of John A. and Josephine DeMaranville) Forrest, she lived in Dighton, graduating from Dighton High School, 14 years in Rangeley,Maine, and 37 years in Northbridge.
Mrs. Ellis was physical therapy technician at Milford-Whitinsville Hospital for 26 years, retiring in 1985.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville. Burial will be in South Sutton Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Greater Milford, P.O.Box 122, Hopedale, 01747
