Evelyn Joyce Coats, 85, was born October 9, 1927, in Center, TX, to her parents, Winnie and Arthur Taylor and passed away July 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Coats, Jr. in March of 2002. Evelyn Joyce is survived by her 14 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews; 16 great-great nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Funeral services are 9:30am, Friday, August 2, 2013, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation with the family is 6-8pm, Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Jaynes.
