Nelda Jean Moore was called home to our Savior Saturday, July 27, 2013. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North). Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Nelda was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Palo Pinto County to Thomas and Lula Mae Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.G. Moore; daughter, Glenda Marline Whitehead; brother, Thomas Barbour; and sister, Evelyn Shields. Survivors: Sons, Billy Eugene Kelly and Gerald Glen Kelly; daughters, Patricia Mae Carter, Nelda Lucile Davis, Carol Yvonne Slate, Joyce Elaine Jones, Bertha Bernice Tucker; brothers, Preston Bennett Baker and Olen Ray Baker; sister, Glenda Lucille Bradley; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
