MR. JOHN HINSON
DIES OCTOBER 31
Mr. John W. Hinson died at his home on Cane Creek Sunday October 31, 1937, after several days of illness age about 76 years.
Mr. Hinson was one of Cane Creek's most beloved citizens, and had been a member of the Methodist Church since 19 years of age and lived a devout Christian life.
He is survived by his wife: two daughters, Mrs. C. S. Hunt, Linden, Mrs Jim Wiggs, Pleasantville; six sons, Will, Only, Tenn.; Carl of Waverly, Cecil of Paris Landing, Tenn; Earl, Clifford, and Paul of Beardstown; besides one brother Jim Nat Hinson of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. And one sister Mrs. George Harber of Centerville.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. F. Jones Monday afternoon after which burial took place in the family cemetery near the home, in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends.
