Mrs. Clovie Irene Hall Edwards, 77, of Ararat, VA passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Carroll County, VA on November, 17, 1935 to the late Flossie Marshall. Mrs. Edwards was retired from Bassett Furniture and was loved by everyone who knew her. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Cheryl Hall of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Clarke Hall, Kendle Hall both of Thomasville, Tabitha Skeen of Denton; her caregiver, Helen McMillian of Cana, VA. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Edwards; her step-father, Willie George Guynn. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August, 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Emmitt Crotts officiating.
