Deanie Griffin of Conroe, Texas died on Monday, July 29, 2013. Mrs. Griffin was born on Dec. 23, 1928. A native of Boaz, Alabama, she moved to Texas as a young wife. A longtime resident of Houston, she relocated to Conroe in 2001. Mrs. Griffin was predeceased by her husband, Ray M. Griffin and sons, Jim and Mike Rodenbaugh. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to grow flowers and was a faithful member of Church of God 7thDay.

She is survived by her loving family: daughters and sons-in-law, Jeana and Jeff Kendrick, and Kathryn and Evan Kendrick; Grandchildren: Rachel Christians, Michelle Boyd, Andrea Kendrick, Caleb Kendrick, Andrew Kendrick and Seth Kendrick; Great grandchild: Graham Christians; Siblings: Cecile Dyar, Faye Montgomery, Jean Drake, Ann Smith, Howard, Tommy and James Barnette of Cullman, Alabama. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Church of God 7th Day on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Nathan Lawson officiating. Mrs. Griffin will be laid to rest with her late husband, Ray at Houston National Cemetery.
