Miss Woody was a graduate of Chatham Central High School, a full time student at Mt. Olive College and worked part time at Lowes Foods, Sanford.

She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Brenda Goins Woody; two sisters: Amy Woody, Ashley Woody and a niece Haley Woody, all of the home, maternal grandmother, Leona Goins of Sanford.
