Jane Page Wells, 91, of Damariscotta, ME died December 29, 2011 at Miles Memorial. She was born and raised in Newcastle, ME and graduated from Lincoln Academy and University of Maine at Orono. She was married to James Doring Wells for 59 years until his death in 2003. After raising two daughters in Wayland, MA, they moved to Weston and retired to Florida in 1986. Jane returned to Maine in 2009 residing in her home on Pemaquid Lake.

Funeral services were held at the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle on January 3, 2012.
