Andrew Powers first married Sarah Hanford, daughter of Theophilus and Keziah Hanford. Together they had four children:

Keziah Powers Weed (1773 - 1802)
Andrus Powers (1775 - 1825)
George Powers (1778 - )
Theophilus Hanford Powers (1778 - 1843)

After the death of both their mother and father, Ebenezer Hanford became the legal guardian of Keziah, Aaron Comstock became the legal guardian of the three boys. He seems to have adopted other children as well.

Andrew Powers married secondly Sarah (Sally) Carter. Together they had two children:

William (Bille) Powers (1783 - 1825)
Sally Powers Raymond (1785 - )

After Andrew's death, Enoch St. John (second husband of Sally Carter), became the legal guardian of William and Sally.
