Mrs. Evelyn Wanda Benedict of Wilmington, California died yesterday. She was born September 26, 1915 in California and had lived in the state all her life. She is survived by one son, Richard Moore, who is stationed in Mississippi with the Armed Forces; three sisters, Velma Upton and Ida Brooks, both of Wilmington and Violet Taylor of Taft; two brothers, William Shea of Taft and James Shea of Wilmington, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock in the Erickson & Brown Chapel with Mr. William O. Erickson officiating. Burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery. The services are under the direction of the Wilmington Funeral Home of Wilmington, California.
