Earl Bliss Fletcher, 65, of Hebo, and a former resident of McMinnville, died September 21 in the Tillamook General hospital. Funeral services were held Friday at the Community church at Hebo with interment in the Evergreen Memorial Park at McMinnville.
Born to Almon and Ida Hulery Fletcher on July 10, 1878, on the donation land claim of his grandparents east of McMinnville, he lived on this farm until its sale in 1920, and then moved to Hebo.
He was married in 1904 to Anna McDonald of Scio and to this union six children were born. His widow and two sons, Roy of Hebo and Beryle of Hood River, and a daughter, Bernice Lane of Hebo, and 12 grandchildren survive him. Three children, Lloyd, Ralph and Mary Lorene Hussey preceded him in death.
