He was a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., and a former resident of Stuart.
He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, serving 20 years in the Navy as a submariner and machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Conway Stevens; and son, John Stevens, both of Winder.

A service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. July 30 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga.
