Mrs Rose Harper, died at the home of her son, Sam Harper on Logan Street, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The deceased leaves two sons Will A and Sam P Harper to mourn her loss.

There seems to be a disagreement on just who was the mother of Rose. My research seems to agree with some that her father, William, was married possibly 3 times and that Rose was the daughter of his third wife, Nancy Buffalow and not the daughter of his first wife Milly Wicker since Milly died in 1840 and Rose was not born until 1850. Still researching, but for now I have removed Milly as the mother of Rose until someone provides more compelling info to add to her record. (dhintx #47160808)
