Mrs. Jo Ann Reynolds Harris, 76, of 563 Opal Ext, Hartwell, peacefully passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on July 1, 1937 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer Reynolds and Edna Ruth Palmer Reynolds. Mrs. Harris was retired from Hart County Mental Health, Tugaloo Home Health Care and Cobb Memorial Hospital of Royston. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Hartwell, Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Couple 1 Sunday School class.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Austin Harris of the home; a daughter, Connie Harris Greer and her husband David of Hartwell; a son, Kenneth Harris and his wife Brenda of Arden, NC; two grandchildren: Bethany and Austin Greer. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Flowers optional, or special memorials can be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643
