Meador have this day bargained and sold and
do humbly convey unto John L. Meador our

undivided interest in a certain tract of land
being the ---th ----- each of the following ---------
to --- of land lying in the 18th civil district of
Hardin county Tennessee on the waters of White Oak
Creek in Range 7 Section 5 beginning on a post oak
the NW corner of a 55 acre tract in the name of Allen
Etheridge thence west 52 poles to a black oak thence
south to a stake at the ------- thence with the cross
fence a southern corner to a stake with a hickory
---- 178 poles thence East 65 poles to a southwest corner
of Allen Etheridge 55 acre tract north with said
tract 178 polesto the beginning supposed to contain
65 acres to have and to hold the-----the said John
L. Meador his heirs and assigns forever against
the lawful claims of all persons ------- ------ ---- and
we warrant the same to be ---------- and
that we have a good right to sell the same as above
given under our hands and seal this 20 day of

court of said county J.R. wright and W.H. Alexander
subscribing witnesses to the attached deed who being
first duly sworn depose and say that they are
personally aquainted with M.A. Alexander S.M.Meador
L.C. Meador L.M. Meador G. T. Timberlake J.P. Boswell
the bargainers amd that they acknowledge the same
in their presence to be their act and deed for the
purpose therein contained witness my hand at office
this 20 day of October 1880 H.R. Hinkle

State of Tennesse To J. R. Wright Esqr
Hardin County You are hereby authorized
empowered to take the examination of S.A. Timberlake
and M.J. Boswell privately and apart from her
husband in relation to her free execution of the
annexed involvement? and the same so taken to
certify under your hand and seal witness H. R. Hinkle
clerk of Hardin County court at office 28? day of Sept 1880
