Coleen met Brian Smith and they were married in Bangor, Maine, October 7, 1972 at St Mary's Church.
Brian had enlisted in the U S Air Force and, after Basic training, the couple move to Alexandria, Louisiana, for Brian's first Duty Station at England Air Force Base.
Over the next 4 years of military service, Coleen became the mother of 3 sons.

After military service; the family moved back to Maine.
Coleen was very family oriented. She looked forward to
camping, each Summer. She was an avid reader of books and magazines.

As the children grew older; she became a volunteer at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine; in multiple positions: accumulating more than 500 hour of Volunteer Service. Her favorite was working in the NICU, nurturing premature babies; when parents were too far away to visit daily.

Special thanks to Beth Baily for creating and transferring this memorial; and, Dale and Patti for the original photos of the markers.
