Chris went to be with our Lord on July 28, 2013. He was born on March 30, 1947 in Winona, Missouri to Charles and Inez Metz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Metz, brother, Terry Metz and sister, Rowena Metz.
He served in the United States Army. He worked for B&M Water Services in Wyoming for 15 years and then the last 18 years for Tyson Foods. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Rose for 29 years, son, Bruce Metz, daughter's Pamela and husband Lee Simmons and Michelle Metz. Step son's Michael and wife Sarah Bright, and Kevin and wife Tina Bright, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother Larry, Wife Alice of Farson, WY, Brother Bill Metz, Wife Mavis of Cody, WY, Sister Jeanie Miller, Husband Bob of Bella Vista, AR, Brother Stanley Metz, Wife Phyllis of Springfield, MO, Sister Sheila Johnson, Husband Alan of Wayne, NE, Brother Mickey Metz, Wife Terrie of Gentry, AR and Sister Kim Murphy and Husband Gary of Coweta, OK.
Chris was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family loved him very much. He will be greatly missed by one and all.
