Ada Roundy Dies in the East.

Mrs. Rodney W. Roundy of Portland, Maine, the former Ada Emilie Lindsay of Decatur, died Tuesday in Brattleboro, Vt.

She had been in ill health several years and suffered a broken hip in a fall two months ago.

Mrs. Roundy was born on Oct. 3, 1881, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of John, and Edna Nicholson Lindsay.

She attended the University of Illinois where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and graduated from Millikin University in 1905. For 10 years before her resignation in 1915, she was secretary of the Millikin Conservatory of Music. She returned to the position for two years when Nellis Parkinson was called for military duty in 1917.

Later she was administrative assistant to Dr. Charles E. Burton, secretary of the national council and commission on missions of the Congregational Church.

She married the Rev. Dr. Roundy on Aug. 20, 1924. He is now superintendent emeritus of the Congregational churches of Maine.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Roundy leaves three brothers, Frank M. Lindsay of Decatur and William P. and James N. Lindsay of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Herman F. (Edna) Swartz of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a step-son, Paul Roundy who is dean of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio; and a step-daughter, Mrs. George E. Wright of Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Brothers who preceded her in death were Charles, father of Edward Lindsay of Decatur, John and Arthur. Sisters who preceded her in death were Laura, Mary, Ella and Nettie.

Funeral services will be Friday in the Congregational Church, in Bellows Falls, Vt.
