Mrs. Margaret Haun, mother of Monsignor Julius W. Haun of St. Mary's College, Winona, died at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Wabasha , at 12:30 p.m. today.

She had been a patient there for two months and died from complications of old age. Mrs. Haun was 85 years old.

Born May 14, 1866 at Rollingstone, Margaret Maus was married to the late George Hahn, who died September 18, 1950. Surviving are eight of ten children.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here Friday at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Kelly funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening.

Funeral of Mrs. Margaret Haun

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Haun, 419 Olmstead street, who died at St. Elizabeth's hospital, Wabasha, at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of a year, will be Friday at 10 a.m. with her son, the Rt. Rev. Julius W. haun of St. Mary's college officiating at the mass. His Excelency, the Most Rev. Edward Fitzgerald, bishop of the diocese of Winona, will give the absolution and officiate at the grave in St. Mary's Cemetery. The rosary will be said by the Thir order of St. Francis at 2:30 p.m., by St. Ann's society at 3 p.m. today at the Kelly Funeral Home. Friends may call there this afternoon and evening. Mrs. Haun was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and St. Ann's societies of St. Joseph's Church and of the St. Rose of Lima guild. Survivors are five sons, Monsignor Haun; George and Edward, Winona; Frank, Chicago, and Albert, St. Paul; three daughters, Mrs. George (Lillian) Smith, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Hoffman, Winona, and mrs. Josephine Macgurn, Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Daley, North Portal, Sask., Canada; 16 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Two children are dead. her husband, George Haun, died September 18, 1950.
