Mr. George L. Sloderbeck's death occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Bluffton clinic. He had been in failing health for some time, and ill for several weeks.

Born April 26, 1885, at Marion, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Sloderbeck, Mr. Sloderbeck had been a resident of the Winamac vicinity for fifty-two years. His marriage to Miss Fern Hamilton took place at Marion in 1909, and they had lived on a farm west of Winamac for many years.

Surviving are his wife; sons, Darl Sloderbeck of Omaha, Neb., and James of South Bend; daughters, Mrs. Susie Hille of Ft. Wayne and Mrs. Irene McWherter of Winamac; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
