Lt. Stephen H. Kemp,

US Army, Retired, 63 of Seminole, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Stephen was born on January 10, 1950 in Millen, Georgia. He retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant serving in the Infantry Armored Calvary. Stephen served on the Seminole Recreational Board, Coached Youth Football in Seminole for 35 years and was an Auxiliary Police Officer for Treasure Island, FL.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 29 ½ years, Sandra L Kemp of Seminole, FL, along with two sons, Mark Stephen Kemp of Dunedin, FL and Kenneth Stephen (Jaimee) Kemp of Largo, FL, two daughters, Martha Rebecca Kemp-Traynham of VA and Ellen Jessica (Charlie) Kemp-Baldino of CT. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Ashley, Sandra, Sandy, Felicity, Jessica, Laura and Stephen, his mother, Martha Wright of Largo, FL, a brother, John D Shuman of St. Petersburg, FL and a sister, Mary of Utah.

Visitation held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home. Funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 2:30 pm.
