Mr. Charlie Homer Reynolds, age 79, of North Wilkesboro, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Avante at Wilkesboro. Mr. Reynolds was born February 14, 1934 in Wilkes County to Kemp Allen and Mary Luffman Reynolds. He was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church in Ronda. Mr. Reynolds was employed with Carolina Mirror for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Marie Baker.

Surviving are his wife, Jolene Reynolds of the home; two sons, Tommy Reynolds and wife Brenda of Boonville, Gilbert Reynolds of Hays; two daughters, Debbie Adams and husband Tom of Ronda, Mary Ann Ellis and husband Richard of North Wilkesboro; three brothers, Odell Baker of Elkin, Johnny Baker of High Point, Maynard Reynolds and wife Shirley of Elkin; five sisters, Idesta Lyons and husband Joe, Maxine Wagoner and husband Earl, Ruth Gregory and husband Billy all of Elkin, Ruby Hawkins and husband Jimmy of Thurmond, Kathy Collins and husband Eddie of Moravian Falls; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:00 o'clock Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Little Elkin Baptist Church in Ronda with Rev. Gwyn Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little Elkin Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 o'clock on Wednesday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of the donor's choice. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
