Mrs. Brodie, a native of Savannah, Ga., had lived in Aiken for 21 years. She was a real estate agent for Woodside Realty. She was a former co-owner of the Fabric Mill Stores, Aiken and Augusta. She was awarded Realtor of the Year in 1994. She was a member of the Million Dollar Club and Woodside Plantation.
Survivors include her husband, Gene M. Brodie; a son, Kenneth Brodie, Aiken; a daughter, Kathy Abney, Aiken; four brothers, Robert Josey, Atlanta, Carl Josey, Augusta, Windom Josey, Beaufort, and Danny Bevill, Savannah; and two grandchildren.
